A new week has begun. I took my test over the weekend, and it was a lot harder than I expected. It's really interesting how difficult multiple choice test can be. I am confident at least hopeful that I passed.
Ben and I spent Sunday hanging out at the river playing with Hank. It was nice to get out of the house. Ben worked late almost every night last week. He didn't get home till almost midnight two nights in a row, and he had to work all day Saturday. This week should be easier.
We close on our house on Friday. This is very exciting. I am so happy for Ben and I. We are so blessed that we are even able to consider purchasing a house within our first month of marriage. I mean I am truly grateful but, I am very nervous about this, because the bank has been giving us problems about verifying all of our money. Apparently large deposits of money with no written documentation is not accepted as valid assets. Well, we have recently received a lot of money as gifts. WEDDING PRESENTS! I don't know what is going to happen. I have tried to call the bank several times this morning. No call back. I need to shuffle some money around so that it is all in our new account here in LA. I was told not to do this until the bank finished sorting out our assets. We have less than 5 days to square this away. My realtor assured me this will work out and to not stress. SO, SIGH.....
On a much less stressful and happier note. I found a friend for Hank and I. A young female Vizsla pup named Ellie and her owner Erin live less than two blocks away on the same street. Erin and Ellie came over this morning. I offered to watch Ellie a few days a week while she is at work. The dogs have the same energy level and temperament, they played perfectly together. Hopefully my house and yard will be able to survive their play. This seems like a great arrangement for all. I hope she comes over this week.
Here are some pictures of my soon to be new house.
