Life at the Residence Inn, Midland

I arrived to our home away from home to find Ben had already decorated it with flowers for me. :) He also had a sweet card, and some chocolate covered strawberries. I love my Valentine. I feel truly blessed to have a man who is a great companion, friend, lover, father, and provider. Ben is so good to us.

Evelyn seems to be adjusting to our little home. She likes that when she's playing on the floor she can pretty much see me no matter where I am. :) We play peek a boo where I hide and peek out from furniture in our room. She laughs so hard. FUN FUN!!!

On Valentines day Evelyn rolled over from her back to her belly for the first time. She is getting really good at turning in circles, and scooting around a little. I am excited and nervous for her to start crawling.

Eating solid food is progressing. She is either really excited, or really not interested. We are working on fitting eating into a routine. I fed her down in the breakfast room while I ate breakfast this morning, she seemed to like breakfast better than dinner. Which if fine except bath time which is usually required after feedings is part of our night time routine.

Here are some play time pictures.
