Balmorhea State Park. Sunday Get Away.

On Sunday August 5th our little family drove 2 hours to Balmorhea State Park.  I might or might not have the only baby who does not sleep in the car so long car rides can become very frustrating. Once again we were grateful to have my mom "Nonny" here with us. Evelyn slept maybe 25 min on the way down there.

It is similar to Barton Springs for those of my friends from the Austin area. A natural spring that has been captured in concrete to make a natural swimming hole. Fish and crystal clear water make it the oasis of West Texas.

We had most of our Midland friends with us. Including the Jaskulas, and two more small families that we often meet up with. All of the moms there with small children were also pregnant. I thought this was pretty funny. There were five children. Sierra 17, Will 2, Henry 1, Caleb 1, and Evelyn 1. It was a fun afternoon of fun and swimming. The children all did so well.
