Yesterday was a beautiful day here in Shreveport. Today there is a river flowing down our street. I always wish we had a rain gauge after it has already been raining an absurd amount. I need to go ahead and put it on my list. I worked on and almost finished my shower curtain. I have been trying to complete this task for about a month.
I have been feeling better over my productivity around the house and at work. The changing of the season has brought a change of attitude and productivity to my world. Hank is also enjoying the slightly cooler weather.
I received great news today. My parents, my aunt, and my uncle are coming to Shreveport around October 16th to help Ben and I replace the electrical wires in our house. This is going to be so much fun. Well, I mean it will be nice to have it done. I doubt it will actually be fun for those doing the work. I just wish my sister could make it too. She can't miss school or work, so she will have to stay behind in Georgia.
I am trying to design my front sitting room. I am also on the hunt for a headboard and comforter for Ben and I's room. I am really unhappy with the colors that are currently found in our room. I found a headboard in the company store magazine, but it isn't for sale. I need to contact them and find out where it can be purchased. The people who lived in this house before received several home decorating magazines. I have found some inspiration, but still not enough to dive in and spend the money on something.
