We are expecting Granny and Great Granny to arrive this weekend. Friday evening. Granny (Ben's mom) and Great Granny ( Ben's maternal grandmother) are also excited to see Evelyn. She is really growing fast. I have a lot to do to prepare for there arrival. I know they are not expecting a CLEAN house, but I would like it to at least be semi-clean.
The weather here as I know I've complained about before has been horrible. For Labor day and the week that followed, we were given some relief. I knew the cooler weather wouldn't stick around. I told myself over and over to not get too excited, but I did. I want fall to arrive so badly. It is 105 degrees today. It makes me so uncomfortable.
I want to go camping, I want to go lay in the grass and read, I want Halloween and Thanksgiving, I want pumpkin spice late, I want corduroy, I want fall leaves, and well probably a lot more but all of these things have cool weather in common. BRING IT ON.
My mom, myself and baby Evelyn will be traveling to the great city of Omaha to visit with my Grandpa and all of my dad's side of the family who live nearby. We will be traveling from October13-17. I know this sounds way too picky, but I'm hoping to get there before it gets too cold. We folks of Louisiana do not have proper clothing for Omaha's winter. Wow the temperature really gives me a lot to worry about.
Evelyn is doing great. Two nights in a row she only woke me up twice. 3-4 hour intervals of sleep for my baby girl. Hurray!!!!
Thanks for stopping by, here are a few pictures.
