Central Texas Wildflowers
Over the Easter weekend we drove to Austin/San Marcos for a wedding and for the Easter holiday. We drove Thursday night after Evelyn was ready for bed and arrived by about 11 pm. long drive. Friday we spent hanging around Ben's parents house. It was beautiful.
We went for a back road drive. Encountered some spectacular scenes

Then we did our 1st Bluebonnet photos with our baby girl for her first Texas spring. She of course ate a few of the blue flowers. She didn't appear to enjoy them but didn't give up trying. Persistence.
Later that evening we rode the mule down the the San Gabriel river behind Ben's parents place. Evelyn again was persistent in eating nature, this time river rocks.
Then we headed to San Marcos to attend our long time friends Steve and April wedding. We spent the night with Ben's cousin Mark and Kendall. I always love seeing them. We stopped off at the San Marcos river before the wedding.
Easter Sunday we drove back to Bertram to attend church and visit with Great Granddad Warden
I know that was a picture overload, but we had a really great weekend. I am very happy however to be home. Evelyn needs to get back into a sleep routine. So do I for that matter. I hope everyone had a happy Easter.
