Swinging on Sunday

This is the swing that I made with the help of my super awesome husband. I found the idea  on Pintrest of course. 

I posted about the making of the swing before we left Shreveport. However we gave the first swing we made to Evelyn's cousin Emma in Austin. So I made another one finally for my baby girl. She of course loves it. We spent quite a bit of time under our big beautiful tree on Sunday. I think I got a few cute pictures. As always I went a little over the top with the pictures, but my subject is so dang cute, I couldn't stop. Enjoy. As always our fur baby Hank also enjoyed our family time in the yard.

This week Evelyn has been out of me as long as she was in. I can't decide how I feel about this. While I was pregnant, I thought she'd never get here, and now I feel like she's always been here. She will be nine months old this week.

We also went swimming on Sunday. Evelyn's first time in a big pool. I'd say success. She was a little nervous at first, but warmed up tho the idea pretty quick. She was a lot more comfortable in the pool once their golden retriever arrived and was swimming around. Evelyn loves dogs.

On a final note of news. The grandparents are coming for visits. This upcomming week my MOM and DAD will be visiting. What a great mother's day and birthday weekend that will be. Then the following week Ben's parents will be making their first visit to Midland. Hurray.

We are also getting our hardwood floors in before the end of the week. (Hopefully!) So I hope that means I'll finally feel comfortable sharing photos of our new house with everyone. Happy May!
