March,
in like a lamb out like a lion
March was a whirlwind. On March 1st Evelyn and I flew in to visit with my mom and dad in Atlanta while we waited on our new home to come to bank closing. Midland housing market is outta control. I loved the two weeks spent in Atlanta. We played and played while Evelyn had some great chances to bond with her Grammy, Pawpaw, and Aunt ViVi.
After a wonderful visit I was so luck to have my mom fly back to Texas with me. I am certian this whirlwind move would have been much much worse with out my mom by my side. Thank God for Moms.
Ben went to Shreveport to assist the movers, and grab our plants and other items the moving trucks will not haul. While he was there he fixed some plumbing issues and cleaned our house spotless for its new owner Betsy. Yes, we sold our house one week after we closed on our Midland home. Whew! While Ben was away my gracious Aunt and Uncle Gerrard drove from San Antonio to Midland to help us get our house ready for move in. Cleaning, cleaning, painting, painting, more painting, and some minor fixes around the house
Mom stayed until April 1st. A whole month together. ( of course Evelyn does not start crawling while grammy is around ! )
House updates next blog!
