Thanksgiving Travels
Thanksgiving Travels
Our little family will not be traveling for Christmas therefor Ben was able to take a full week for Thanksgiving. We left Midland on Friday night and arrived in Bertram. I didn't get nearly enough pictures from our trip there. I wish I would have gotten a group picture. I am always so relaxed out in the country. Evelyn is going to have such a great time spending future summers out there. She was infatuated with the chickens. Every morning after "eat" her second word was "chicken".
We were able to hang out with my brother and sister in law each day we were there. Emma (my niece turns two this week. I can't believe it. She is a cute, funny, and very loved little girl. Here are a few pictures we took one beautiful afternoon.
We visited Grandad
I am growing and growing. Baby boy is strong and healthy.
On Wednesday we left Bertram and headed to San Marcos. We stayed with Mark and Kendall (cousins). We also so our dear friends Steve and April.
Thursday was Thanksgiving at Granny's house in San Antonio. Most of the guest at this holiday gathering we have not seen since last Thanksgiving. We meet a new cousin born just after Thanksgiving last year. We found out another baby will be joining the family in the spring. Again I wish I would have gotten a good picture of our family with Granny and a group picture.
Thursday night we headed to Bulverde to spend the remainder of our trip with my family. We stayed in my cousin Tracy and Tommy's beautiful new home on a hill in the hill country with a view to die for. Evelyn got to play with her 2nd cousin Corbin who turned one November 25th. She got to ride her first horse with her daddy. We had over 30 people at our Thanksgiving dinner. My pawpaw, aunts, great aunts, cousins of multiple generations, and even one of my two uncles were present. I truly had a great time and could have stayed another week.
Well I think that sums up our trip. I am glad to be home. No more traveling until our newborn baby arrives. Our next adventure will be putting up a Christmas tree with a toddler in the house. :-)
