October Outings

Well with the fall season upon us we did what families do; we went to the pumpkin farm. Fiddlesticks Farms is our local venue for tractor rides, farm animal viewing, pumpkin picking, pig races, corn maze, and lots of dirt. It was pretty warm today so at the last minute this morning I created Evelyn's shirt. I am really happy with it except I didn't spend nearly enough time centering her name on her shirt. It bugs me in each and every photo.

We arrived at about 10:45 and lasted until about 12:45. Evelyn had a blast. Climbing, animals, and open fields of dirt and hay are right up her list of favorite things.

There are over 135 pictures so I don't know how i'm going to pick less than thirty for this post. I'm including a link to my Flickr account where I believe I uploaded them all.

I am almost 29 weeks pregnant just for those of you who wanted to know. Evelyn is 14 1/2 months old. Ben is 29 years old and was a great sport about our fall adventure this morning.

I have to choose from one of these for our alphabet book. Any votes would be appreciated.

Now for the traditional pumpkin pics.

The animals were next:

 kissing the chickens.

Saying "Mooo",  and then I removed her from this cow that wanted to eat her.

Then it was train time. She liked the tractor too.

A little lunch:

Old Truck and Family Pictures

Corn Maze:

So there you have it. I didn't count but I think I went over thirty? Anyway I should have taken a picture of Evelyn passed out in the car on the way home. We had a great day, and I am blessed. Thank you lord for this day and for all the days that have been given to me.

Did you say Evelyn was passed out in the car? How odd.

Great day at the corn maze and pumpkin patch! We did that every year in TN and there really aren't any nearby farms that do that around us. I miss it so much. I like the C is for cattle trailer pic the best for the alphabet book, but it was really hard to choose! Great post, thanks for sharing. xoxox
